Stripe is connected in test mode
A payment processor (Stripe) is connected in test mode for the account. If Tzplan ever adds a paid tier in the future — for server-hosted features like calendar sync or team accounts, which would require a backend the product does not currently have — it would use this processor.
As of September 2026, no paid tier exists. No real card is required or charged. The entire product is free.

Tzplan is free forever. A paid tier would require server-hosted features — calendar sync, team accounts, saved schedules — that depend on a backend this product does not have within its current architecture.
Stripe is connected in test mode. No real payment is ever taken.
Your browser does the work.
Tzplan uses the time zone database your browser already has — the same one that powers every Intl.DateTimeFormat call in every web app you use. There is no server to pay for, no database to maintain, no API costs. The only resource is the page itself.
That is also why certain features cannot exist here: anything that needs a server — sending an email, storing a schedule, connecting to a calendar — would require infrastructure this product does not have. Those would be a genuine paid tier, and they would need a backend that does not exist today.
Nothing. Literally nothing.
There is no tracking, no analytics, no cookie banners, no newsletter signup. Tzplan does not collect any data because there is nowhere to collect it to. The page works without JavaScript enabled for reading, and with JavaScript for the tool. No personal information is asked for or stored.
